Salary Expectations

On average, a forklift operator with under five years professional work experience can expect to earn anything between R60, 000 to R120, 000 per year. (Stats from payscale.com)
This can however differ depending on work performance, company field as well as company income.

In general forklift operators who have 10 years of professional work experience or more tend to move on in their career to various positions of management.

In order to be considered for this position, you should possess the following:
Valid driver’s licence
Some forklift experience is desirable
Warehousing experience
Strong, fit and healthy and able to load/unload off trucks
Ability to start ASAP
Ability to pass a drug & alcohol test
Strong initiative and work ethic, with the ability to ‘find’ work with little supervision

3 – Clamp Forklift Operator, Propane Clamp Forklift Operator – Growing Logistics Company seeks 30 Propane Clamp Forklift Operators to work at their facility in Elwood, IL. You will be using a forklift or manually loading and unloading trucks, picking and scanning orders, and wrapping pallets of boxes for shipment.

Two Shifts are available. Choose your shift:

1st Shift: 7 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – MIDNIGHT

To be considered, you must have:
At least 2 years of clamp forklift operating experience.
Reliable transportation.
Authorized to work in the United States.
The ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
